What is a tracker?
A tracker is a piece of information stored on or read from your device when you visit a site: cookie, local storage or an equivalent technique. Some are essential to the store working; others measure audience or serve advertising.
The consent principle
Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC requires your prior consent before any tracker is stored or read, except for trackers strictly necessary for the service you asked for. Our rules:
- Refusing is as simple as accepting: both choices sit at the same level, one click away.
- No box is pre-ticked.
- Continuing to browse does not count as consent.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- Until you consent, no analytics or marketing tracker is stored.
Google Analytics 4 does not benefit from the audience-measurement exemption according to the CNIL: storing it therefore requires your prior consent.

Local storage on this storefront
On this storefront, outside the Shopify store, only two items are saved in your browser’s local storage:
- ultmx-lang — the language you selected.
- ultmx-cart — the contents of your cart.
Both are strictly necessary for the service you asked for: they require no consent, are used for no tracking and stay in your browser.
Change your choice at any time
- Reopen the tracker settings panel from the link at the bottom of every page.
- Clear the site’s cookies in your browser settings: the banner will reappear on your next visit.
- Turn on your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal: we treat it as a refusal.
How long your choice is kept
Your choice is kept for 6 months, in line with the good practice recommended by the CNIL. After that period, you are asked again.
